Spring Fling Chair Yoga

Flows, variations on familiar asanas, hip openers and twists.

Go Slow Chair Yoga

"One of the fundamental approaches to asana that makes it into more than just a workout or a physical practice is taking the time to slow down and become more conscious and aware of our bodies."  ~Barrie Risman

Deepen your self-awareness with this Go Slow Chair Yoga class.

Inner Peace Chair Yoga

During this yoga class you will affirm that your world is peaceful as you experience inner peace, no matter what is happening with the rest of the world.

Manipura Chakra Chair Yoga

Manipura "lustrous gem" is located at the Solar Plexus.  Attention to this chakra area strengthens the core, reduces worry and enhances self-confidence. This class offers seated and standing poses with the help of a chair.

Bring Curiosity to Your Chair Yoga Practice

This class was inspired by yoga teacher Barrie Risman, who wrote, "how heartening to remember the richness and possibility of asana as a complete path." Today we engage with curiosity the many aspects of our asana practice, seated and standing with the help of a chair.

Work Smarter, Not Harder

The yoga principle "do less and accomplish more" allows us to experience  the benefits of relaxed effort through use of breath, awareness and alignment cues, in seated and standing asanas with the help of a chair.

Grounding Focus

Let's give some loving attention to our feet, connect to the earth and experience the support of grounding,  in seated and standing asanas with the help of a chair.

Grounding #2

Connecting to the earth with intention and breath brings serenity and stability in times of change,  in seated and standing asanas with the help of a chair.
